Marek T. Mikulski, M.D.

Dr. Mikulski comes to the Bay Area Heart Center from South Carolina, where he practiced cardiology for three years. He completed his training in Cardiology at Providence Hospital, Southfield, MI and New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY.

A native of Poland, Dr. Mikulski received his M.D. diploma from the Pomeranian Medical Academy Szczecin, Poland in 1983 and Ph.D. in 1994. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at St Vincent’s Medical Center in New York, where he served as Chief Resident. 

Dr. Mikulski is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the fields of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He is board Certified in Nuclear Cardiology and holds certifications of Special Competency Examination in Cardiac Pacing and Cardioversion Defibrillation administered by the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology, and Special Competency in Echocardiography by American Board of Echocardiography.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. His special interests include clinical cardiology, nuclear cardiology, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, cardiac pacing, transesophageal echocardiography, and stress echocardiography. Dr. Mikulski is fluent in Polish.
