Prevention Clinic

One of the most important aspects of Bay Area Heart Center is not the treatment of heart disease, but the prevention of heart disease.  The Prevention Clinic is directed by Dr. David Mokotoff,  Dr. Solomon Fishman, and Dr. Jeffrey Lehr and focuses extensively on risk factor modification.  The key coordinator for the Prevention Clinic is Bruce Rice, PA-C.  In addition to closely following and treating patients with cholesterol problems, the Prevention Clinic works on smoking cessation, exercise, weight loss and encouraging a generally heart-healthy lifestyle!  Our directors and coordinator frequently attend workshops and seminars to bring you the most up-to-the-minute approaches to medical and non-medical risk factor reduction.
