David W. Kohl, MD

An original partner of Bay Area Heart Center, Dr. David Kohl has been in private practice since 1985. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was named a Morehead Scholar. Dr. Kohl continued at UNC for his medical studies, graduating in 1979. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, New Hampshire.

Dr. Kohl served as chief medical resident at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in 1982-83. From 1983-85, he pursued a cardiology fellowship at Brown University Affiliated Hospitals. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the fields of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology.

Along with being a Senior Partner of Bay Area Heart Center, Dr. Kohl is also the medical director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at St. Anthony's Hospital.
