Biljana is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of clinical nursing experience, most of which comes from working in cardiac and intensive care fields. She first earned her nursing diploma at Valjevo’s Nursing School in Serbia. Upon moving to USA, she graduated from Galen College of Nursing in St. Petersburg in 2008. Afterwards, she pursued Bachelor and Master of Science in nursing from South University in Tampa where she was inducted to Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing for her academic achievements, and graduated with honors in 2015. During her clinical training for a family nurse practitioner she received Over All Clinical Excellence award.
Biljana is board certified by American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her special interest is congestive heart failure and she is working towards her certification in this field along with American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine CVNP certification.
In her free time, she enjoys nature, hiking, and volunteering in green initiative efforts. Biljana is fluent in Serbian.
