A Pinellas county native, Nicole is finally returning “home” after more than 25 years. During her time away, she earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Brenau University, located in Gainesville, Ga., where she was also the recipient of the Janice Turk Adkins award for outstanding scholarly achievement. After graduating she went to work for Northeast Georgia Medical Center where she worked in cardiology, critical care, and cardio-vascular intensive care. During her time there she was awarded the prestigious Daisy Award for extraordinary nursing. In addition, to working as a critical care nurse at NGMC, she also taught clinical nursing for the University of North Georgia, which is where she would later obtain her Master’s of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree. Along with being a certified nurse practitioner, Nicole is also certified in critical care nursing, and cardiac medicine. Since returning to the Bay area, Nicole enjoys running at many of the county’s parks, going to the beach, paddle boarding, and spending time with family.
